Most of our code is written in IDL (Interactive Data Language), which is produced by Research Systems Inc. This is a high-level array-oriented language which is ideal for implementing seismic processing algorithms. The source code contains very few hardware dependencies and is easily compiled across a large number of platforms. This environment enables us to quickly develop bespoke processes for specific projects, as described in our R+D page. We also have experience in Java and C++.
Hardware
We operate a network of high-end Windows and Unix computers. These multi-CPU machines provide the floating point speed and large volumes of memory necessary for tasks such as 3D migration and elastic modelling.
