Supervision of Contractor Processing
Target Finders provides a comprehensive quality control and project management service for contractor processing. Our Senior Consultants each have over 20 years experience in DP management working for leading contractors, and are well qualified to protect your interests with partners and contractors and ensure that projects run as smoothly as possible. Our extensive experience of 3D survey design provides an extra dimension to our processing services.
Our Objectives are to ensure the timely completion of the processing project, and the excellent quality of the final workstation product.
Project Management is performed according to a plan consisting of :
The plan is distributed as a MicroSoft Project file and agreed with all parties prior to startup. Weekly on-site inspections are then conducted to ensure that the plan is adhered to. These visits are also used to ensure that the processing seismologists have a thorough understanding of the project objectives, and that they have all the geophysical and other information they need to produce a high quality product.
Minutes of these meetings are communicated to the Client weekly, together with an updated MS Project file. The Consultant will also visit the Client's office at least once a month. This means that Clients outside the UK can keep in close touch with the project, whist making the best use of both their own time and that of the production processing staff.
Active Quality Control means that the Contractors' personnel and processing technology can be supplimented with our own resources. Sensitive processing steps can be calibrated, shadowed, or if necessary generated entirely in our own offices, for example:
Our resources include specialised software developed in-house as well as Seismic Processing Workshop, which is a 3D system produced by Parallel Geoscience Corporation.
